How the Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 Works
The Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 is a pressure side cleaner meaning if your pool has a pressure side port then you can easily employ this cleaner for your use. It uses the pressure of the pool water in order to work. The water is returned back to the pool through the vacuum. The dirt and debris that the vacuum picks up is filtered into the bag. The bag plays a vital role in the whole system as it takes a lot of pressure off the pool filter system.
Our experience with the Polaris Vac-Sweep 360
Setting up the Polaris wasn’t that hard. It comes with a user guide that pretty much explains a step by step process that helps you put it together. The pool we have is tiled and the wheels on the cleaner had no issue with it. However, when we closely examined the wheels we felt that it may have issues on other type of pool. Unlike Hayward’s PoolCleaner, these weeks have no ridges so not a lot of traction in anyway for slightly rougher surfaces.
When it came to cleaning the pool, the triple jet system of the cleaner works quite well. It works well at scrubbing, sweeping the walls and floor of the pool. We couldn’t find much dirt or debris after it was done cleaning. The cleaner comes with a 31 foot hose so it works well in small and medium sized pools. If you are still not interested in the Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 after reading this review, then you may want to take a look at the Hayward Pool Cleaner.
If you have a smooth surfaced floor and wall then the Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 is a great pool cleaner for you. It operates automatically so does not require you to do much. You can turn it on and it will do its job. If it does come across an obstacle, the cleaner eventually works its way around it so you don’t have to monitor it. So if you no longer want to spend hours cleaning your pool then we recommend you consider the Polaris Vac-Sweep 360.
